Coach of the Year: John Mayberry, Broadneck Mayberry only 27 years old started the wrestling program at Broadneck four years ago. This year he had four county champions, a county team championship and a 13-1 dual meet record.
Wrestler Of The Year: Karl Edwards, Aberdeen Edwards won his third straight State championship. This year he went 22-0 with 18 pins. He recorded the fastest pin in the state tournament by pinning Steve Martin in :50. Over his career Edwards is 78-3. He has not lost a match since his sophomore season. He will attend the University of Maryland on a football scholarship.
Steve Martin in the B-C UNL Final was from Parkside not Parkdale and at 105 it should be Keith Burgess, not Ed Baugees, Parkside. I wrestled on the 86/87 Parkside team at States. Do they have the official 86/87 Tournament Brackets on-line anywhere?
